Gerald Hausman is one of the last of the great American storytellers. He is the embodiment of the oral history tradition of America that spans hundred years and has been called a modern day Mark Twain. He has appeared on National Public Radio and The History Channel, and he has performed at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The Miami Book Fair International, The American Library Association, as well as countless schools and local venues through America.

“Hausman is a master.” – Trent Zelazny.

“He is one of the greatest storytellers in the world.” – Coleen Salley - Storyteller emeritus of New Orleans.

Stay Thirsty thought it was most appropriate to preserve for all time a great American tradition as Gerald Hausman recounts the story of Railroad Bill.
