NEWS FLASH: Richard Wiley named the 2023 Winner of the Peace Corps Writers’ Award as “Writer of the Year.”

Richard Wiley won the PEN/Faulkner Award and the Washington State Governor’s Writers Award for Soldiers in Hiding and the Maria Thomas Fiction Award for Ahmed’s Revenge. He is also the recipient of the Silver Pen Award from the State of Nevada. He is the author of nine novels and a collection of short stories. A graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and Professor Emeritus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Richard Wiley lives in Los Angeles and his first Stay Thirsty Press publication, The Grievers' Group, lets the reader peer beneath the surface of six people to see how they handle grief, a part of life that everyone must confront at some point.
